About Katz

William Loren Katz is best known for his 40 exciting history books — including award winning classics Black Indians, The Black West and Black Women of the Old West. He is an acclaimed lecturer on topics related to the history of Black and native peoples in the United States, speaking at The American Museum of Natural History, The Smithsonian Institution, Johns Hopkins University and other educational institutions over the course of his career.
